my five calendar year previous has a mild situation of psoriasis on her head.
If there is no cure, is there a way to keep it beneath handle?
I have been using Selsun Blue Shampoo when I give her a bath recently. I havedn’t been employing it long enough to discover a big difference however even though.
My Hubby had it when he was more youthful but grew out of it. He explained his mother and father used some type of ointment on him for it, BUT no 1 remembers what it was.

Never try house solutions!! They could do worse. Phone or go to a skin doctor.

there is a new shot called embrel, but i don’t know if there is an age limit on it. check with your pediatrician
I had this problem for years and used over the counter stuff. Finally, I saw a dermatologist and he gave me a prescription cream, it went away – and hasn’t been back. Good luck.

My younger cousin actually suffered from psoriasis often as a child, and was prescribed a topical ointment; of course, everyone is different when it comes to medications.

Psoriasis has no cure, but can be controlled. I’ve had it for years and I still have it.

One thing: Do not try any “home remedies”. They don’t work and can do a lot of damage.
no there is no cure…you have to constantly take care of it…Exorex works good for me (coal tar) and i can use it as long as i want too…but better consult a dermatologist. Mine prescribes me some mixes with ingredients that do good to my skin…make sure your daughter doesn’t scratch it, as it gets worse
