clobetasol propionate 0.05%, have it also and this steriod cream or ointment is the best I have ever used.
My fiance has psoriasis all over his scalp…and it’s horrible. The best thing he’s found is T-Gel shampoo for psoriasis. It works in about a week…and then you can vary the amount you use…like every 2 days, or once a week.
As far as on your skin, I find that Elidel(Pimecrolimus) works best on mine…but usually lots of stress will cause you to break out anyway….sooo try to reduce the amount of stress you’re under if at all possible.
As far as I know, it’s an immune disorder so it really can’t be cured at the moment. Now, there’s no way to say if we’ll have a cure one day… but for now it’s very treatable. It could go away for years, only to come back one day when you’re having a tough time in life or the changing of seasons mayyybe even might cause it to act up.
Just take it one step at a time. Treat it while you can and don’t worry yourself too much.
I’ve had psoriasis up to 70% of my body and now only in my scalp. What work for me the most were tanning booths. I tanned in the summer and cleared my body completely. The sun is also very good for your skin. I have had light treatments in my Dr. office, and use multiple creams. This by far has been the best. Keep yourself moisturized also.
Try to cut down on the stress in your life, yoga or meditation is good. Stress really makes it worst. Also lithium can cause psoriasis.
