Hi, you can try one of the natural treatments for psoriasis from the Internet – some of them do actually work. For my psor. I use herbal cream by Champori quite successfully. It takes just a couple of weeks to clear the spots and they stay clear for months on end.
Try it: champori is available without prescription and comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn’t work for you – it’s free.

The main cause of psoriasis is overreaction of the immune system. Keeping it in a balanced state is the key point of battling this disease. I try to eat healthy food and avoid stress as much as I can.
After using number of prescription drugs I’ve turned to the natural treatments.
Now I use serenaskin psoriasis remedies .
After about 2 weeks of using ointment and spray my skin has been cleared up and now I just continue with psoriasis extract, which controls the immune system. My skin has been clear for months now.
It is the only treatment I have found that provides me complete relief when I use it as directed.

If it’s bad enough he can get injections or pills for it instead of using cremes. He should ask his doctor

I have suffered from psoriasis for over twenty years. Until recently I was just like your dad.

    Here’s what I have done:

    1) Changed diet. Eat more leafy greens, especially leaf lettuces. Have him avoid Iceberg lettuce like the plague. It doesn’t digest well. Also, less red meat, more fish and chicken.

    2) Keep up the baths. Bring two cups of water to a boil and make a tea of 1/4 cup nettle leaf and 2 tbsp. Burdock. Let it steep for 12 minutes and add it to his bath. Have him soak for AT LEAST 30 minutes; 40+ is better. Have him gently scrub with a loofah to remove the plaques. Do the tea bath on alternating days.

    3) Get lots and lots of exercise.

    4) Drink lots and lots of water

    5) Work with an acupuncturist. A licensed acupuncturist can recommend the proper herbal teas to re-balance his system.

    6) Tanning. Get him a membership somewhere to tan during the winter. During the summer, spend as much time in the sun as possible; use no sunblock. UV rays kill psoriasis.

    7) Use oils to keep the skin lubricated. I have found that Crisco (hydrogenated soy oil) combined with olive oil and/or avocado oil really helps. The Crisco helps to keep the oil in place on the affected areas to allow it to soak in. It has to be REGULAR Crisco; the butter-flavored stuff has too many chemicals in it. The regular stuff is just pure oils.

Something to remember, and please remember well: Western medicine has NOTHING that will help consistently. Yes, there is temporary relief, but the condition comes back worse than before after just a couple months, sometimes as long as six months. Trust me; I’ve researched this enough to know, talked to enough other sufferers who bought into the bogus claims who are now worse off than if they’d never gone that route.

It has taken nine months of dedication and hard work, but doing what I’ve listed here I am nearly completely clear. I hope it works for your dad as well. While psoriasis won’t kill, it is just a nasty condition. I truly know his condition. I wish him well.
