How do you cure psoriasis?
Question by He Who Knows Not: How do you cure psoriasis?
I have psoriasis on my elboes and the tops of my hands. It is truly embarrassing and I have tried using medication from the shop, but it by no means works. It began to go absent by by itself, but recently, it started out coming back again, make sure you help me.

There is no cure for it. You can use cortisone cream and that will help–also sun burns it and gets rid of it. How do I know, had it for over 50 years. You are a dermatologist dream–their ‘cures’ have not changed since the 60′s. Stress, alcohol, fatty foods all make it worse. you can also use a good lanolin cream but then it will turn red on you or scale worse–the cortisone is the best. If otc doesn’t help then go to a derma. and get a stronger cream as in hydrocortisone valerate. Pricey!!
what the hell is psoriasis?!! can describe ur condition?
there are different forms of psoriasis, plaque which is more common is like silvery layers , and guttate is like very small red dry spots. i have had two outbreaks of guttate psoriasis in the last twelve years and the only way i have found to speed up the healing is to either sit in the sun or have a few sessions on a sun bed. both times i got it seem to tie in with when i was extremely stressed and had strep throat. good luck
